athletics overview

We take great pride in fostering a vibrant and holistic athletic program for our students. From 5th to 8th grade, our students engage in both volleyball during the fall and basketball during the winter, developing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. For our TK to 8th graders, the spring season brings the excitement of Track and Field, providing an opportunity for all students to participate in a wide range of athletic activities.

Aligned with the mission of the North Bay Catholic School League (NB CSL), our athletic program goes beyond competition, emphasizing the growth of our student athletes physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The league's mission statement underscores the importance of creating a nurturing environment where students of all skill levels can thrive. Our focus is on instilling values such as fair play, good sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic, echoing the teachings of Christ. Through participation in the NB CSL, our students not only enhance their athletic abilities but also deepen their relationship with God and their understanding of themselves and others within our shared faith.

CSL League

Our school is an active member of the CSL league, comprising like-minded Catholic schools within our diocese. This enriching competitive environment includes schools such as St. Apollinaris, St. Rose, St. Francis Sonoma, St. Mary's, and others. Our coaches, who are dedicated parent volunteers, play a crucial role in shaping the student experience. Upholding the values of our faith, all coaches are fingerprinted and Safe Environment trained, ensuring a safe and positive atmosphere for our young athletes. With a foundation rooted in Christ's love for children, our athletic program aims to nurture both winning attitudes and genuine camaraderie among our students, fostering personal growth and building strong connections within our school community.
